A little history (very interesting!)
The leopard pattern has been present in our wardrobes (and those of our mothers and grandmothers !) for a long time, making a comeback in many collections and trends over time. The animal motif allows you to stand out and express your originality through different pieces. It allows a wide choice of outfits with its numerous variations, both in terms of colors, patterns, accessories and textiles. But isn’t its constant return synonymous with its timelessness ? In the era of our mothers (or yours ? Oops, it’s a gen Z who writes the article)
The leopard pattern has been worn for decades by the biggest celebrities and public figures. It was first the symbol of chic and elegance at the first Christian Dior fashion show in 1947, worn by Jackie Kennedy and Queen Elizabeth II. He then became the symbol of sexy and rebellious punk and rock spirit with David Bowie and Madonna. Leopard print is also present in 90’s pop culture in unforgettable full looks. Other celebrities have never stopped wearing it.

The leopard : seen and announced in the major fashion shows for 2024 and… 2025!
It is during the fashion shows for the fall-winter 2023/2024 collections that leopard reappears both on subtle pieces and on strong pieces. Whether on the catwalks or in the street, leopard is popular and we see it! Sorry girl but for those who don't subscribe to this trend, leopard will still be there next year! Yay! We spotted a magnificent full leopard trench in the Dior fall-winter 2024-2025 fashion show !!! We love.

The leopard pattern in phase to become timeless ?
The question does not arise: the leopard pattern IS timeless. As long as a piece or pattern returns each season, it is timeless. Appreciated by haute couture houses, celebrities and ourselves, this print defies trend codes by remaining ingrained in memories. Between trendy and timeless, the leopard pattern knows how to seduce, get noticed and remain at the heart of fashion. So whether to accessorize your outfit or make it the flagship piece, don't doubt yourself and your style by wearing this pattern! However this season it's the big trend for blouses with knots so you have to have a leopard print one !!
Fashion advice
Everyone wears leopard in their own way, but here are some fashion tips if you're still unsure about your looks.
You can wear it in several ways :
- Subtly by accessorizing your outfit with a bag, a pair of sneakers or a hair bow
- As a strong piece by placing it in the center of your outfit with a blouse, a jacket or even a skirt !
Leopard goes very well with color, particularly yellow, pink, blue, and if you want to play it more soberly, you can match it with other patterns but also with neutral colors or a classic material such as jeans. As you can see, leopard is quite easy to wear, whether you are a classic team or an original team.
